Lloyd Dean Clark, age 79, of Peculiar passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Lloyd was born October 17, 1942 in Independence, Missouri. A son of Floyd Neil Clark, Sr., and Edith Juanita Clark.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

Lloyd was united in marriage to Phyllis Irene Lees. To this union, stepdaughter Connie Shaw, daughter Penny Brady, and son Paul Clark. He had a long career at Sika Corporation of 47 years. He was a hard worker and in his later days, he enjoyed cutting grass and working for his customers, who quickly became his friends. He loved to watch Westerns and he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing croquet and horseshoes at family reunions. The void he is leaving in our hearts, cannot be filled.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Clark, father Floyd Clark, Sr., mother Edith Clark, sister Bonnie Hamilton, as well as brother Floyd Clark, Jr., and stepdaughter Connie Shaw.
Those left to mourn his passing includes, his son Paul Clark, daughter Penny Brady, son-in-law Kevin Brady, granddaughters, Kelsey Roberts, Brooke Brady & Madison Clark, his great-grandchildren, Brayden Sims & Blaire Sims and his siblings Ruth Ann Gittinger, Deborah Hufford, David Clark & John Clark. As well as nephews, nieces and numerous family and friends.
A visitation for Lloyd will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
