Lois Lou Bryant

Lois Lou Bryant, 77, Kansas City North, passed away April 14, 2014 at her home. Memorial services are 2:00 PM Friday, April 18th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will immediately follow the service. Private interment will be in Monrovia Cemetery, Monrovia, KS. The family requests contributions to Hillcrest Transitional Housing.

Lois was born September 20, 1936 in Effingham, KS. She previously lived in Lincoln, NE before moving to Kansas City 55 years ago. Lois was a bookkeeper and tax preparer, and for many years owned her own business. She was a member of the Business Woman’s Association, Red Hat Society and in earlier years served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. Lois enjoyed square dancing. She was of the Methodist faith. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, James Maurice and Vera Irene (Nieman) Sinclair; and 3 brothers, John, William and Robert Sinclair.

Survivors include her children, Bill (Lori) Bryant, Doug (Michele) Bryant and Donna (Daniel) Weichel; sister, Mary Frakes; 5 grandchildren, Whitney (Philip), Mathew, Tyler, Briana, Gage; and 2 great grandchildren, Harper and Ailey with a 3rd “on the way”.
