Lois Ann Van Noy

Lois Ann (Chiarelli) Van Noy, 86, passed away peacefully May 29th, 2016. She lived in the area her entire life and is preceded in death (2002) by her husband of 49 years, Raymond C. Van Noy, Jr. Lois is survived by many nieces and nephews and her siblings, Gloria Matthews (Alexandria, VA), Irvin Chiarelli (Indianapolis, IN), and Nancy Peake (Colorado Springs, CO). She also leaves behind her children and their spouses, Jana Lee (Rich) Moore, Raymond Charles III (Sherry), David Paul (Debbie) and John Michael (Debra) and 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will sadly miss the birth of her 16th great-grandchild by a couple of months.

Lois was the matriarch of Jess & Jim’s Steak House and RC’s Restaurant in Martin City. She was the bookkeeper for many years. But her family was her life, although she really enjoyed a good card game! She loved watching the Chiefs and Royals. She loved to knit, crochet, paint, work puzzles and enjoyed all types of music, especially Rock & Roll played LOUD.

Visitation will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Chapel, 10507 Holmes Road on Thursday, June 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. with the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.. Graveside service will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
