Louis Joseph Donnici

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Peter John Donnici and Linda Louise Donnici, and his brother, John Anthony Donnici (Helen Sage). Louis was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 26, 1965. He joins other cherished loved ones including maternal grandparents, Louis and Lillian Haverland; paternal grandparents, John and Gladys Donnici; aunts, Marilyn May and Clarene Cascio; and uncles, Frank Donnici (Loretta), Ross Cascio and Carl DiCapo (Sugie). Louis leaves behind three brothers, Phillip Stephen (Gerri), Frank Raymond (Licia), and Michael Peter (Kevin); his uncle, Raymond Haverland; aunt, Sugie DiCapo and aunt, Loretta Donnici, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews, and cherished cousins.

Louis grew up in Independence, Missouri and was a 1983 graduate of Truman High School. He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Louis went on to College at Central Missouri State University where he became a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. For his studies, Louis was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography. In addition to his studies, Louis was an expert Chess Player in both High School and College, attaining the level of Candidate Master and achieving accolades for his skills.

He held a number of positions during his career, including working as a Medication Aide for disadvantaged persons and those with other challenges. He was a fun-loving man, loved Star Trek, told terrible jokes and enjoyed being with friends and family whenever he could. He attained his dream of owning his own home several years ago and took great pride and satisfaction in it. He was also quite proud of his Italian heritage and made sure everyone knew it!

Louis was a kind, quiet soul, he marched to his own drum and he made no excuses for it. He was a kind, faithful, and loving man and he will be dearly missed and forever loved.
