Louise was born on Feb. 5, 1920 in Kansas City, KS to Otto and Julia Nigro. Her early years were spent at Holy Rosary Parish and St. Theresa’s Academy where she developed her passion for sports. For 30 years Louise lived in Prairie Village where she raised her family and attended St. Ann’s Parish. In her later years, she lived in Blue Springs where she was a member of St. John LaLande Parish. Not one to take the little joys of life for granted, her deep love of nature gave her much joy and pleasure. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the flight of birds, roses, and mountain vistas took her breath away. Known for her social ways and loving heart, Louise never met a stranger. But her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Dold, in 1989; brothers, Salvatore, Otto “Junior”, Michael, and Infant John Nigro. She is survived by daughter, Julie Dold Maxwell (Richard Mall) and sons, Joe (Pat) Dold, John (Mary) Dold, Jim (Sally) Dold; brothers, Victor (Grace) Nigro, Thomas (Carmeline) Nigro; sister-in-law, Angie Nigro; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
