Its been one year since the passing of this great young man. I hope his family knows how many lives he changed with his gift of life. Please know I will forever be thankful. Gods blessing to you all.

I can't believe it's a year tomorrow..how can time slip away so quickly? It still feels surreal to me. I still pray for you Lyod and your family and friends. I wish I could've been at your thing today, but I had to work. I miss you.

I have been thinking of Loyd this week. He would have celebrated his 24th birthday on March 28th. I know his family still must feel great pain. Especially on days like his birthday. Please know I am still praying for you all.  I thank God each day for his life and how he brought life to so many. Forever thankful for his gift.

I worked with him at ADT, he always had something witty to say and we played hours of hangman while taking calls. Loyd was a great friend! I will always remember him. my prayers are with you all!

Rhonda, Loyd and Tiffany, I have started this so many times searching for just the right words to try and express my heartbreak for all of you, and to help bring some comfort and compassion to your days ahead. Loyd has definitely touched so many people in so many ways, and I hope you can hold on to that always. My daughter, Elaina Soto,  went to school with Loyd....I sent you all my deepest sympathy....May God bring you strength and comfort in this time of need.

Loyd went to high school with and was a friend of my granddaughter and we sat in the stands at OPHS and watched and listened to the band play, went to the jazz dinners and auctions and various other musical events.  The music holds events and people together and was a joy and Loyd was a part of that.  Hannah and we are so sad to hear of your loss.  Our condolences to Loyd's entire family and to his friends. Loyd taught me numerous things in the short time I knew him at Oak Park. There are some memories I wouldn't trade for anything of him, and some of my favorite memories of Marching Band involved Loyd. You will be missed kid, God Speed.

Without a doubt, an extremely bright light was extinguished the very second you departed this world, Loyd. People were instantly drawn to your warm heart, your huge smile, and your open acceptance of so many differences.  Your brilliant sense of humor helped so often to ease the hectic turmoil forcing its way through your life and the lives of those around you.  I miss you dearly and will never forget our precious time together or the tears of laughter you brought to my eyes daily.  My thoughts are with your family and all who loved and adored you.

I was a friend of Loyd's. I am in Springfield, and don't have a trustworthy car to make it there, and I am greatly upset about that. I know Loyd would understand, because he was such a loving person. He was always so much fun to be around, and I am blessed to have had him in my life for the time that I did. I pray for you all and thank you for bringing him into this world, and into my life.

My deepest sympathy to the entire King family. May Loyd find eternal peace with the Lord.  I have many fond memories of Loyd and time spent at our home.  I especially remember the night that he thought Tiffany was going into labor and he came running up the stairs from the basement yelling to me that he had to leave because 'I'm going to an uncle'. I told him to slow down and not drive crazy, but I'm sure he didn't listen. ;-) He will be missed.
