Lynn Ann Applegate

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Jean Windmiller; and nephew, Payton Irwin.

She is survived by her son, Tim Applegate; daughter, Shelley (Tony) Sawyer; sister, LaDonna (Rick) Irwin; brother, Lane (Janie) Windmiller; grandchildren: Cole, Andrew, Tyler (Ashley); great-grandchildren: Maddux and Kinslee; along with many other family members.

Lynn was a devoted, loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She cherished spending time with her family whether it was the grandkids sporting events or a quiet time with them watching movies, playing games or cooking for them. One of her favorite family times would be when she spent time at the lake enjoying a peaceful day or sitting in the evenings under the stars or around the fire pit. Another enjoyment was going for a car ride with her son, Tim, whether it be looking at Christmas lights or fireworks or just catching a pretty sunset and reminiscing on good times we’ve all shared. Lynn gave her family encouragement in her nurturing, loving ways. She was called grandma by many. Her family will cherish the wonderful memories she has left us. Lynn will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. To acknowledge her passing, we ask that you please donate to a charity in her honor in lieu of flowers.
