Manuel Torres, 1927-2020, passed at 92 years old. He has joined his beautiful wife Josephine Torres, and leaves his children Mario Torres, Anna Marie Torres, and Michael Torres. His Grandchildren Travis Torres, Sean Torres, Emily Torres and his brother Baltazar Torres.
Manuel was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Son to his family. He was a selfless human being who loved his family unconditionally and a hardworking man with an enormous heart. His empathy and compassion has touched many.
Manuel worked as a machinist and he was also a successful business man. He provided wholeheartedly for his family and treasured his sixty-two year marriage to his wife Josephine. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and would volunteer his time and energy to assist with fund raisers and events for the church. Manuel was also a Korean War Veteran who proudly served on the frontlines for the United States of America.
Manuel loved to whistle while he worked and he loved to play the harmonica for his family. One of his many catchphrases was “Everything is going to be OK”. He will be highly missed by many.
