Margaret M. Capell

Margaret M. Capell, 73, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel with burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Margaret was born October 5, 1938 in KCMO, to Tim and Cecil Dobbins. She married Homer Capell in 1955 and to this union 8 children were born. Margaret was employed as a cook for the N & W Railroad for over 20 years. She had been disabled over the last twelve years from injuries suffered in a vehicular accident. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Homer Capell; one son, Vincent; and a great granddaughter, Kaylee. Margaret is survived by her seven children: Gregory (Aline), Michael, Renee (Dwight) Curtis, Cheryl (Rick), Kristy (Laura), Cecile (Larry), and Dennis; two brothers; three sisters; fifteen grandchildren: Wendy, Michael, Cassondra, Jonnie, Mark, Jessica, Matthew, Penny, Vincent, Krystal, Constance, Katherine, Amanda, Kristy, Madison; and thirty-three great grandchildren.
