Margot J. McClain, 88, passed away February 12, 2016 at her home in Kansas City. Margot was born November 6, 1927 in Stuttgart Germany. On October 22, 1948 she married Carl McClain an American GI and had a fairy tale marriage together. He preceded her in death in 2009. Margot loved to sew and knit. In addition to Carl she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Curtis and Mark; one brother; two step brothers and two step sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Carin Smith; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, February 15, 2016 from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
