Marjorie Darleen Lillibridge

Marjorie Darleen Lillibridge, 87, formerly of Frankfort, KS, passed away peacefully on Feb 27, 2016 in North Kansas City. Services are Sat. Mar. 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ, 200 S 15th St. Marysville, KS. A visitation, also at the church, will be from 10:00-11:00. Burial will follow at the Marysville City Cemetery.

Marge was born July 31, 1928 on a farm north of Marysville, the third child of Benjamin V. and Mabel Marie Yager Fletcher. Her parents moved to the Frankfort, KS area when she was a year old. She attended rural and Frankfort public schools. She married Hiram H. Lillibridge of Waterville, KS on Sept. 7, 1946. He died Apr. 2, 1985. They were not blessed with any children, but she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She worked many years in ladies dress wear as a salesperson until her health forced retirement.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Harold; brothers John and Donald Fletcher; and sister, Ila Thomas.

Survivors include a brother, Benjamin (Marilyn) Fletcher, brother-in-law Orville Thomas, sister-in-law Cleo Fletcher, her devoted niece and caretaker, Sheryll Michael, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
