

Mary Lou Rabinowitz, 81, of KCMO passed away on September 11, 2014. Visitation will be Monday September 15 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Services will be Tuesday September 16 at 10am at Floral Hills with graveside to follow. Mary Lou was born on April 19, 1933 in Peculiar MO. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor. She owned Ben Casey’s Sundries for 42 years, worked at Builders Square for 10 years and also artistically sketched and painted designs including school mascots on many gymnasium floors. She was a member of Up and Atom and Wheelers and Dealers Federation of Square dancing, which she and our father enjoyed very much. She was also a member of ABWA, American Business Women’s Association for over 40 years and developed many meaningful friendships within this organization. She is survived by 4 sons, Steve Stevens (Kathy), Larry Jessee (Cindy) James Jessee, and Robert Rabinowitz II (Dee); by 3 daughters, Brenda Kleoppel (Paul), Candy Harris (Dave), and Cheri Frazier; 10 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 20 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Lavonne and Joanne. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rabinowitz, daughter, Barbara Enochs, son, Jerry Jessee, granddaughter, Patricia Stevens, brother, Samuel, and mother, Lucille. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, crafting, collecting, and most of all family. Mom, thank you for your many talents, strength, and love. We are blessed because of you, till we meet again. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Northcare Hospice House or Parkinson’s Association. (Arrangements by D.W.
