Maudeline Britz (Maudy)

Maudeline White Britz (Maudy), 86, passed away on February 16, 2022 in Kansas City, MO.

She was born August 16, 1935 in Turtle, MO, daughter of Everette White and Jane White Baldwin. She grew up in Kansas City, MO.

Maudy worked as an Office Manager for Smith Kline Laboratories for over years 20 years.

She was an avid member of the Red Hat Society in Sedalia, MO and Lee’s Summit, Mo for many years and served as the MO State Fair queen 5 times. She loved to wear red and purple with wild hats. She was a member of the Golden Entertainers in Sedalia, MO for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett White and Jane Baldwin, her sister, Imagine Hankins and her brother, David White and her son, Alan Britz.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ralph E. Britz, two sons Harold Britz and Larry Britz and three daughters, Lana Britz, ( Kurt Clausing), Karen Benefiel, (John), and Lisa Cummings, (Bryan) and a sister Jeri Gross Williams, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133. Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Celebration of Life at 2:00 followed by a short grave side service.
