Meada Shriber of Olathe, KS passed away October 18, 2011 at the age of 97. Meada lived in Vestal, New York for the majority of her life until her move to Kansas in 2001. Meada was preceded in death by her husband Fred Shriber. She is survived by children: Fred and Sandy Shriber, Meada and James McCaw, grandchildren: Fred Shriber, Christina and Bob Cardoza, Jennifer McCaw, Amy and Jeremy Otto, Melissa McCaw great-grandson: Derrick Shriber, and friend Esther Rowley. Meada was a woman of faith who cared for all who crossed her path. Her strength, wisdom, and humor touched the lives of many. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
In Kansas, a Memorial Service will be held Friday, Oct. 21st, 3:00 p.m., at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe, Leawood, KS.
In New York, a memorial service will be held for her at 11:00am on October 24, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, where Meada was a longstanding member. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church at 709 Main St Vestal, NY 13850.
