Mike, 
I miss listening to you talk about loans. I never really understood what you were talking about, and I honestly didn't care half the time. But talking about it seemed to make you happy. And seeing you happy was what mattered. You had this presence that just seemed to draw an entire crowd in. We wanted to hear what you had to say... Just listen to you talk. You were one of the smartest people I knew and I always valued your opinion. Sometimes I pretend you're still here. We love you Mike and miss you more than you could have ever imagined we would.

My family and I would like to express our condolences to Heather and Mike's family. I worked with Mike for short time and I was impressed with his upbeat personality and his strong work ethic. Mike was a true team player always willing to lend a helping hand.  We will keep you and Mike in our prayers.

To Mike: You will be missed greatly, more than you will ever know. We all already miss you. You were a wonderful friend, and a great father to Logan. You were always out to have fun, and were always smiling. Hearing of this tradgedy was a complete shock. You were always the rock for the one's that seemed less strong, the voice of full support, and the one that always had the answers. Now that you are gone, you will never be forgotten. Your spirit will live on forever. We know that you are watching over us from the heavens above. I hope that you found the peace that you were searching for.

To Heather and Logan, stay strong. The two of you need each other now more than ever. Although Logan may not understand it now, his life has changed forever, and he needs the support of you Heather, even though he may not show it. Let him know that you love him dearly (even though Im sure he already knows) and that you won't leave him. And Heather, your strength at the services was outstanding. I'm very proud of how you handled it, even though I'm sure you were a complete mess on the inside. Just remember this, Mike has not left you forever, he has just gone away for a while. If you start to forget, just look into your beautiful son's eyes, you will find Mike there. Logan has so many of the same qualities Mike had, and for that you should be thankful. Mike's spirit lives on through him. Don't let Logan forget what an amazing Daddy he had. Keep his memories alive through stories and photos. Remember that you have a wonderful group of friends and a loving family that would do anything for you. Right now you need them, don't be afraid to take them up on their offers. While it will take time, just take each day one at a time, and each day will get easier as time goes on.

And to the rest of Mike's family, My deepest condolences go out to you. Nothing can make the sorrow you feel at this difficult time go away. May you find the strenth in each other to move on through this tradgedy.
