Michael Ryan Gordon, 60, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Funeral Services will begin with visitation at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri 64133.
Mike attended Winnetonka High School, graduating in Class of 1975. He went on to graduate from ECPI College of Technology and then on to run his own successful business for over 30 years. His family was very proud of his accomplishments.
Michael left behind two sons, Tyler and Zack, 3 step-children Jessica, Jason and Bonnie, and 8 grandchildren of whom he was most proud. He also is survived by his father, Donald E. Gordon, and sisters, Cheryl Brockman, Marcia Shelley, Cindy Watkins, Patty Lara, Kelly Maples; and brothers, Donald E. Gordon, Jr., Robert Casey Gordon, and Keith Gordon.
Mike loved our KC Royals and KC Chiefs, his motorcycles, and 70’s Rock music, but family was most important to him. He loved the family gatherings, and we will miss him very much.
