Millicent Marlene Bowes, 95, of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, November 28, 2014. Private family services will be held prior to the burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Millicent was born on November 1, 1919 in Kansas City, KS to Milan and Mary Mirich. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1938 and married Robert Bowes February 20, 1947. Millicent was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to raising her three sons and supporting her husband. Millicent loved doing needlepoint, knitting, painting, and spending winters in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Bowes.
