Mindi Lynette Smith, 42, Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away January 9, 2014. Memorial services are 5:00 PM Tuesday, January 14th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 4:00 PM; cremation. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested in Mindi’s name to Ronald McDonald House.
Mindi was born August 19, 1971 in Kansas City, MO and for the past 11 years lived in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was a graduate of Platte County R- III High School, Platte City, MO and the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Mindi was employed for Midwest Behavioral Healthcare Management –Pathways Common Behavioral. She was a member of Eagle Creek Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Sydney Nicole Smith, 11, and Sophia Marie Smith, 6; her parents, Joy J. and Mark A. Simmons; brother, Mark A. Simmons, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Roberta Schelstrate; uncle and aunt, Mike and Jan Branson; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
