Monterio "Mo" Whiles

Mo was born on August 8, 1997 to Jessica Whiles in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Staley High School in 2016. He excelled at sports, lettering all 4 years of high school, was All Conference in football and placed 2nd at State in wrestling his senior year. He attended Baker University, 2016 – 2017, on a football scholarship.

After attending college, he worked in trade labor off and on, until he discovered his passion for PC gaming and live stream. He loved music, recorded a couple songs and also enjoyed Japanese Anime. He loved his dog Kato, his family, and his friends fiercely.

He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Paul E. Bowman.

Mo is survived by his mother, Jessica Whiles (Wesley Raab); siblings Trenton, Mayne, Kasslyn, Axston, Lilly and Emma; grandmother Sheila Whiles; great grandmother Ann Bowman; aunt Erica; grandfather Anthony Johnson; aunts Rachel and Melissa; uncle David Johnson; his father Jesse Jaschke; and brother Jesse Beau Jr; and grandmother Cynthia Florez.

He touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by those whom he loved and loved him in return.

A visitation for Mo will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Unity of Kansas City North, 1000 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64155. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM, 1000 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64155. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Dr, Kansas City, MO 64156.
