Nina Jean (Farabee) Lang, 81, of Grandview, MO. passed away at Foxwood Nursing home in Raymore, MO. on May 28, 2015. Nina was born on September 18, 1933 in East St. Louis, IL. and graduated from Lowry City, MO. High school in 1951. She moved to Kansas City where she met and married Milton K. Lang on December 30, 1954. The couple celebrated their 60th anniversary last December. Nina worked for over 20 years as a loan officer at Center Community Credit Union. She was a very spiritual person and a long-time member of South Broadland Presbyterian Church. She had a wonderful singing voice and enjoyed family vacations.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Shklar. She is survived by her husband, Milton, her two sons, Ron & Dennis, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
