N. Glen Collins, 95, passed away March 22, 2014. Glen was born May 30, 1918 to Charles and Louisa Collins in Milan, MO. Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday March 27, 2014 with a visitation one hour prior at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Glen was a proud member of the Disabled Veteran Association and Carpenters Local #61. He loved to do woodworking projects and was very fond of all his animals. Glen also enjoyed having coffee with his neighbors every morning.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Billie Jean, son Gary Collins, grandson Jamie Williams, great grandchildren Christian and Giovanni and 7 siblings. He is survived by sons Donnie (Sandy) Collins, Rob (Danille) Collins, daughters Glenda (Danny) Williams, Lisa (Mark) Pettet, and Amy (Andrew) Snyder. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren and a longtime friend Amber Sue Green and extended family, friends, and neighbors.
