Patricia Gould Starry Ladd, 66, of Raytown, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, February 25, 2012, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Gould and Elizabeth Russell Gould Stiles, and a nephew, David DePaepe. She is survived by her husband Harley Alan Ladd; three sons, Joshua Starry, Nathaniel Starry of Alma, Michigan and Richard Starry of Allston, Massachusetts, two sisters, Yvonne DePaepe of St. Johns, Michigan, Janet Harr of Blountville, Tennessee, her brother Larry Gould of Ithaca, Michigan, nieces Angela DePaepe, Lansing, Michigan, and Lori DePaepe Rudd of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Patty was born in Alma, Michigan and spent her early childhood in Ithaca, Michigan, graduating from Ithaca High School in 1963. She lived in Sebring, Florida before moving to Kansas City and her marriage to Alan. She loved animals almost as much as her family and received a certificate as a veterinary tech.
