Paula Kae Schweiger, 53, of Kansas City, Kan., passed away March 26, 2017, at home. Born March 19, 1964, Paula is survived by her parents, Paul and Kathleen Schweiger; brother, Mark Schweiger (Tracy Abeln); her partner in life for 37 years, Steve Dorei; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation is Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m., with a memorial service at 3 p.m., at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood, KCMO. Potluck reception follows at Guardian Angels school cafeteria, 1310 Westport Rd. (at Mercier St., lower level, until 5:30 p.m.). Paula is remembered for her bright positivity, kindness and an unfailing willingness to help others.
