Pauline Belle “Vansell” Decker, 89, of Holden, MO passed away on November 24, 2014. Pauline was born on December 13, 1924 to Charles H. and Gertie “Ashley” Vansell. She was 1 of 7 children. She was raised in Sedalia, MO and graduated from Smith Cotton High School. She married Leo Ray Decker on November 29, 1943 and moved to KCMO, built homes in the Raytown area, and raised 3 children. She is preceded in death by her husband. Pauline is survived by her sons, Danny (Pam) Decker; Terry (Debbie) Decker; daughter, Connie (Fred) Simmons; grandchildren, Michael (Judy) Decker, Kelly Decker, Nicole (Mike) Lehmann, Matthew (Vanessa) Simmons, and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Ferguson; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy (Truman) Ekin. Visitation will be Saturday November 29 at Floral Hills from 1-2pm, services at 2pm, and burial to follow.
