Ralph was born in Pratt, KS, to Delbert and Nora (Pollard) Moore. He proudly served aboard the USS Robinson in WWII, savoring and sharing stories of his
travels through the Panama Canal, to Shanghai, China, and up the Yangtze River. After leaving the Navy, Ralph attended the University of Kansas, earning
a degree in Architecture. Ralph worked for Keene, Simpson and Murphy, and Black & Veatch, retiring in 1989.
Ralph met his wife-to-be, Virginia L. Barnard, on a blind date. They married in 1955. Ralph and Virginia enjoyed entertaining family and friends at their
home at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Preceded in death by parents, wife, and sister, Ralph is survived by son Cary (Cindy) Moore and daughter Lisa (Jim) Sheahon; grandchildren Jeremy and
Kailey Moore; brother Kent (Delories) Moore; brother-in-law Neil (Cathy) Barnard; numerous nieces and nephews; and a contingent of fun loving cousins in
Texas.
