

Ralph Trujillo passed away at 4:00 a.m. on November 11, 2011in his home, after a courageous battle against chronic kidney disease. Ralph was 95 years old and was born on November 14, 2015 in Valdeses, Colorado.
Promoted to Sergeant, Ralph served with the 168th Field Artillery Battery D, US Army. He received the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was married to Genevieve (Jean) for over 21 years, who passed 2/23/73. His parents Julian Trujillo and Bersabel Martinez, brothers Alfonso and Jim; sisters Vivian, Josephine and Rebecca and son Ralph Julian preceded Ralph in death. Sister Della Trujillo, Alamoso, Co., his son Jim Trujillo and daughter Shirley Bustamante Winkler, 10 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren survive Ralph.
Ralph worked at Armour Packing House, KC Waterworks, Maintenance Mechanic at KC City Hall and the Municipal Court House. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus, with special acknowledgement to friends at the Don Bosco Senior Center, where he volunteered for over 30 years.
Funeral Services: Visitation on Monday, 6:00 – 8:00, November 14, 2011 at McGilley Funeral Home, 3325 N.E. Vivion Rd. Mass Services Tuesday, November 15 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1357 N.E. 42nd Terrace, KCMO 64116, Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park, 801 Northwest 108th St., KCMO 64155 after mass services.
