Randy attended college at Northwestern Missouri State University, where he met Irene How. The two married in 1974 and spent 53 wonderful years together. Randy, a guitarist, and Irene, a pianist, shared a love of music and liked to dance in the living room together. They also traveled wide and far, hitting many U.S. states and even going all the way across Canada.
Randy was employed by IBM as a senior programmer, systems analyst, and systems architect. The role even took him to other countries.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents Vern and Lucille Rolfe and his sister Joyce Barta.
He is survived by his devoted wife Irene, numerous cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
