Richard Charles Arnold, a resident of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri, passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Known for being brave, hard-working, and selfless, Richard left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Richard graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in business and mathematics. Following his graduation, he worked for IBM for a short period. He served his country as a Captain in the 442 Squadron United States Air Force from 1965 to 1966, where he held the position of Navigator. In his professional career, Richard excelled as a National Sales Manager for Prentice Hall, leading a team of 157.
He was married for over 50 years to his loving wife, Joan. Richard is survived by his son, Steve Arnold and wife, Loretta, and grandson, Jeffrey Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan and son, Jeffrey Arnold.
Richard had a passion for electronics, a love he passed on to his grandson, Jeffrey. His dedication and selflessness will be remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard and Joan will be buried together on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
