

Richard Gonzales, 55, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2004 at Research Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Church followed by cremation. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood, Kansas City, Missouri, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. Contributions are suggested to the church.
Richard was born on December 5, 1948 in Kansas City. He had lived in Kansas City all of his life; he was a retired printer and maintained his membership at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Richard was a man of varied interests. He loved animals, especially his “daughters, Breenie & Nikki”. When CB radios were popular, he was there using the handle “Frito Bandito.” He loved his music and especially enjoyed the “oldies but goodies”. Most of all, Richard was a “people person.” He was the “Dr. Phil” of his family. When anyone had a problem, they would go to Richard and he would gladly listen and care; he was a loving, caring & good-hearted person. Richard leaves to mourn his death his wife, Mary, of the home; his twin brother, Robert, of Kansas City and his brother, Jesse, of The Villages, Florida; his sister, Christina Gonzales, of Kansas City as well as many relatives & friends.
