Robert John Micco

Robert John Micco, 78, of Olathe, Kansas passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am Monday, January 15, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 West 143rd Street, Olathe, Kansas 66062. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am. Burial will take place following the Mass at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to The University of Kansas Health System to benefit the Sarcoma Fund. Robert was born on May 30, 1939 in Fall River, MA. He was the son of Daniel and Evelyn (Bettencourt) Micco. He graduated from Avila University. Robert served in the United States Army. He was a Sergeant in the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, retiring in 2001 after 24 years of service.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Micco, children, Michael Micco (Lisa), Shonette Doggett (Steve), Robert Hennecke (Debra), Michael Hennecke (Rita) and eight grandchildren.

Robert was a selfless, giving person, always thinking of others and touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
