

Robert D. Mora, 40, of Independence, Missouri, passed on Sunday, June 17, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be at the chapel on Thursday, from 5-8 p.m. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m.
Robert was born on July 2, 1966 Kansas City, Missouri. He was a graduate of Truman High School and had attended Longview College. He was a senior analyst for Bank of New York and worked from his office in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a football, basketball, and baseball coach in Blue Springs for the past 10 years. Robert always gave his time to others, helping anyone with anything that he could, and was a fun-loving father. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his son, Zach Mora of Blue Springs, Missouri; two daughters, Rachelle Goforth of Mukwonago, Wisconsin and Robin Mora, Racine, Wisconsin; mother, Romona Mora, and step-father, Manuel S. Mora of Independence, Missouri; four brothers, Frank Valdivieso, Raytown, Missouri, Mike Valdivieso, Chicago, Illinois, Mark Valdivieso, Blue Springs, Missouri, Juan Mora, Blue Springs, Missouri; and his sister, Romona “India” Mitchell of Independence, Missouri; his fiancée, Veronica Adams and her children, Brady and Maggie Adams
