

Robert Lee Ragan, 84, Kansas City, passed away at his home Feb. 25, 2016 with his daughter, Kelly, and his beloved fiancé, Martha at his side. Funeral service is Monday, Feb. 29 at 2:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. A Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Liberty.
A life-long resident of the Kansas City area, Robert was born April 26, 1931 in Shawnee, KS to Albert and Artie Ragan. He was the last surviving sibling of their eleven children. He graduated from Westport High School and worked 52 years at the American Can Company. He loved art and flowers. In addition, he owned Ragan’s Floral in Platte Woods, where he often taught art classes.
Survivors include his children, Richard Ragan, Debi (Joe) Pippin, Cindy (Richard) Abels, Robert (Rinda) Ragan Jr., Michia Fox, David (Laura) Ragan and Kelly Ragan; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and his beloved fiancé, Martha Burson.
