He was preceded in death by his parents Norvin and Mabel Graves Green as well as his brother, Wayne Green.

Born in Odessa, Missouri, Roger spent much of his life in the Raytown and North Kansas City areas. He was a successful car salesman, working for several dealerships, including Andy Klein Pontiac where he was well-known. Roger was a member of Platte Woods United Methodist Church and a supporter of various civic organizations. The Raytown Historical Society was close to his heart and has some of his mementos in their collection.

A fun-loving guy with a hearty laugh, Roger enjoyed telling stories and sharing a great meal (especially barbeque and cheeseburgers). He was a great friend and family man, a super shopper and maintained a dapper wardrobe. His beautiful lawn and meticulously maintained cars were among his pride and joys.

Visitation will be at 11:00am, service at noon. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, if you wish to sit at the outdoor service, Floral Hills asks you to bring your own lawn chair.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Platte Woods United Methodist Church, 7310 NW Prairie View Rd, Platte Woods, MO 64151 or the Raytown Historical Society, 9705 E 63rd St, Raytown, MO 64133.
