He grew up in Kansas City, MO until the age of 13 until his family moved to Edwardsville, KS. He had a paper route and saved for his first car. He never allowed dirt to sit on his car. He loved cars! Ronald graduated in 1957 from Bonner Springs High School. After high school he worked for a while until he was drafted in 1961 during the Cuban Crisis.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Issitt and Beatrice Issitt; and his sisters, Shirley Cook and Sandra Jostmeyer.
He is survived by two sisters, Sylvia Hylton of Bonner Springs, KS and Susan Brown of Oak Grove, MO.
A viewing for 10 people will be held from 1-1:30 PM and a graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. If you would like to attend, please meet at the funeral home so we can go in procession to the gravesite.
