Born on May 30, 1936, in Marion, Ohio, Rosemary, and her sister Nancy, were the daughters of the late James and Grace Sidenstricker. From the foundation provided by her mother and sister, Rosemary developed strong faith and family values.
In 1965 Rosemary moved to Liberty, Missouri and lived in the Northland for the rest of her life. Rosemary retired from Ford Motor Company, and it was while working there that she met her future husband, Bob. Rosemary’s love for her husband was evident in everything that she did.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert W. Cox; her children and their spouses; Karen Albright Zander (Denell), Craig Alan Albright (Collett), Christopher Dale Albright (Shari); Cherise George (David), Donna Martin (Rick), Tina Thompson (Dave), Stacey Forman (Daryl), and Kim Christian (Jason). Rosemary will also be missed by her large extended family including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews,
Rosemary was most recently a devoted member of Antioch Bible Baptist Church, where she & Bob found spiritual fulfillment and community. One of the most meaningful experiences of her life was a mission trip to Vietnam—a journey that reflected her deep commitment to service and faith.
Rosemary’s love for sewing brought joy not only to herself but to many others. Whether crafting quilts or creating special outfits for children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, she poured love into every stitch. Her handiwork became cherished keepsakes for those fortunate enough to receive them. In addition to sewing, Rosemary also loved playing cards, volunteering at her church and (her grandchildren’s favorite) cooking.
Throughout her life, Rosemary touched many with her kind and caring soul. Her devotion to God and family was evident in all she did and will remain an enduring part of her legacy.
