Rosemary O. Hanaway, 85, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1310 East 10th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. Rosemary was born January 21, 1925 in Independence , Missouri, daughter of John W. and Olive Lenore (Coleman) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Thomas Allen Hanaway. Survivors include her husband John C. Hanaway, son John “Ken” Hanaway and his wife Stephanie, daughter Melinda “Linda” Hanaway, daughter in law Mindy Hanaway and her sons Logan and Grant (Rosemary’s grandchildren), and brother John C.
