It was a routine for him to watch Pastor Stanley and Brother Price every morning. Having a deep understanding of God's word, he knew what was coming.
He was a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He was a man who worked hard his whole life to build a foundation that would provide for his family. He had a long career as a truck driver and was also an accountant for many years after retiring from the truck driving profession.
Having the opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren was one of the most important things he loved to do. It was those moments that he treasured so much because they were so precious to him.
He loved football and was a die-hard fan of the Chiefs as well as boxing, he enjoyed these sports mostly. He also loved watching his favorite television shows such as The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune and many more. He didn’t miss a single episode.
Rudy was a very friendly man and would melt everyone's heart with his presence. He brightened the room with his smile every time he smiled.
There is nothing he loved more than talking and joking with people and making them laugh.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Vernetta Dillard. He is survived by his children and their families. Daughter Rudene Dillard and her children Joy Janelle Dillard, Milton (Mickey) Finley and Regal Finley. Son Rudolph Winston Dillard, Jr. and his daughter Ronisha (four children). Daughter Ramonda Dillard and her son Rahmon J. Dillard. Son Rico T. Dillard and his children Ramonica Biggins (two children) and Ricci and Ria Dillard. Three sons by his second marriage: Lorenzo, Reno and Ryan Dillard, and a host of great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, Amira Charleston.
