Mrs. Vann was born April 27, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Oliver A. and Mabel Angeline (Dixon) Shettler. She was an avid lover of children and animals, and was a stranger to no one.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ed Vann in 2006. She is survived by her sons Victor Vann (Marilyn) of Lenexa, Kansas and Bradley Vann (Chris) of Greenwood, Missouri; granddaughter Lauren Vann; brother-in-law Bill Vann; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Chelsie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter or Kansas City Hospice House.
