Sierra Devore Hershman, beloved wife of Mark Hershman, passed away at the Kansas City Hospice House September 5th, 2011. A devoted daughter to Marlene McGinnes Devore, caring sister to Darcy Devore, loving aunt to her niece Tayler Devore, Sierra will always be remembered for her infectious smile. Although afflicted with numerous diseases and poor health for the past 20 years she always made it a priority to be positive during doctor visits; an opportunity that occurred quite often. For those surviving her, that unbelievable ability to create warmth when, in fact, there was little to begin with, will be her legacy. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10th, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, followed by memorial service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lupus Foundation, Heartland Chapter, 5701 Columbia Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63139 or a charity of donor’s choice.
