Stephen Brown

Stephen was born in Upstate, New York to Charles and Beatrice Brown. He married the love of his life Diane Billings in the summer of 1972. They love and raised 4 children, three sons; Kris Brown, Kurk Brown and Kraig Brown, and one daughter; Kari Fritzal. He always had an affinity for the letter K!

Steve was a passionate man who loved God, people and music. He was always willing to lead worship whenever needed, he sang praises and hymns like no one else was in the room! His love of music and knowing songs that no one else would know was one of his favorite pastimes. He could remember a commercial from way back and sing it verbatim to you. He loved little theatre and enjoyed performing.

He poured out love and hospitality to anyone that came in his path. He never met a stranger, you always felt like he was your best friend when he talked to you.

We will be sad to not have him with us, but we rejoice and are filled with peace that he is with his Heavenly Father, because of his faith in His Son Jesus Christ. He passed in his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He will forever be missed.

Stephen is survived by his wife Diane, their 4 children, Kris, Kurk (Kourtney), Kari (Alan) and Kraig; five grandchildren, Aubrey (John), Skyllar, Hannah, Keaton and Kailee.

All services will be held at First Assembly of God Raytown, On Thursday 11/5/2020

Visitation will start at 10am

Service at 11am, lunch following service and graveside memorial at 1pm at Floral Hills Cemetery.
