Steven Mark Brown, age 69, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at home.

Mark attended Southwest High School (class of '68), Southwest Missouri State, University of Missouri at Columbia, and Graduate School at Northwest Missouri State.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Phoebe Brown.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda Brown (Weneck); son David Brown (Alexis); daughter Stephanie Haugh (Joe); grandchildren Charlotte, Louella, and Lauren; sisters Linda Forsythe (Lees), Susan Wantland, and Nancy Savoy.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Lung Transplant Foundation for Barnes Jewish Hospital, 1001 Highlands Plaza Drive West, St. Louis, Missouri 63110 or Congregation Beth Torah, 6100 West 127th St., Overland Park, Kansas 66209.
