STUART A. MOORE Stuart Moore, 73, passed away September 12, 2016. Funeral service will be 10am, Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Floral Hills. Visitation will begin at 9am at the chapel. Graveside service will be 10am, Wednesday, September 21, at Sand Hill Cemetery in Yardell, Arkansas. Stuart was born August 1, 1943, in Kansas City, MO, to Dr. Carl T. Moore and Mary Moore. Stuart graduated from Kansas University and went to work for Household Finance Co. He worked for his father for a few years at a medical clinic. He sold antiques and collectibles for most of his life. He was very active at First Assembly of God in Raytown, and then at First Assembly of God in Lees Summit. He volunteered a lot in Raytown, particularly with Harvesters food pantry. He had a close association with the Waldon family of Raytown. He was preceded in death by father, Dr. Carl T. Moore, and mother, Mary R. Moore. Survivors include his sisters, Elaine McGinn, Knoxville, TN and Kat Moore, of Lenexa, KS; brother, Tom Moore, of Olathe, KS. He also has 7 nieces and nephews throughout the country. Memorial tributes may be directed to Harvesters.
