Terry Michael Day

Terry was born January 17, 1959, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of James and Alice Day. He graduated from Hannibal High School in 1977 and received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Business from Quincy College in 1985. He was a dedicated worker who retired from Hallmark Cards in May 2018, after a career of 29 years.

He was married to Cindy Witthaus for 25 years. Everyone who knew Terry, knew that he loved hard and was an amazing host! He loved his grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed telling stories about all their shenanigans. He enjoyed traveling the world with his many friends and family and when he wasn’t traveling, Terry could be found relaxing by the pool and enjoying his beautiful gardens. He was dearly loved by those who knew him and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer (Lillian) Garrison and Gilbert (Mida) Day; parents Jim (Alice) Day; and brother Scott Day.

He is survived by his partner in life, Michael Sayer; children and their spouses, Ryan Day (Lindsey), Erin Cosentino (Jimmy), and Michael Day (Melissa); brother Gary Day (Lesa); grandchildren, James, Lilly, and Eli Cosentino, Cali, Jocelynn, and Greyson Day, Hailee Davidson, Xander, Liam, and Carter Day; and several nieces and nephews.
