Celebration of life service, 2 – 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov 12, McGilley’s Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO. Terry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love of hunting, fishing, classic car restoration, and family was unmatched. He will be deeply missed by all of the lives he touched.
Terry was born September 23rd, 1947 to Loren and Freida Templeton (née Fudge) in Adams County, Iowa. He was one of three children. He was married to Linda for 50 years . He raised two children, Jeff and Terry Jr.
One of Terry’s greatest gifts was his wit and sense of humor. His legacy will always be accompanied remembrances of the laughs he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
Terry provided for his family working as a machinist for General Mills, and later Reynolds Metals/Ball Inc. His hard work and sacrifice enabled a quality of life enjoyed by his family that we will forever be grateful for.
Fishing, hunting, and restoring classic cars were his passions, only surpassed by the love he had for his family.
Terry is survived by his brother Lyle Templeton, his sister Diane Antisdel, his wife Linda, his children, grandchildren, great grandchild, and extended family. He will be deeply missed by us all.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
