Thomas Paul Brady, 81, a long-time resident of Kansas City, Missouri, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m., on Monday, August 8, 2016, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11800 Holmes, Kansas City, Missouri. Entombment in Mount Moriah Cemetery Faith Mausoleum II. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Tom grew up on Long Island, New York, graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and earned his master’s degree from Claremont College in California. Tom was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired from Northrop Grumman in 1995. He loved to travel, send out the joke of the day, do a little gambling and spend time with his wife, daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. We will forever remember his love of life, his love for his family and for his lifetime friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Fitzgerald Brady and mother Margaret Ruth Hug. Tom is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emily, his four daughters Amy Brady Mershon, Pamela Taylor (Paul), Marilyn Keller (Pat), Alison Wynne (Bob) and his twelve grandchildren.
