Trevor was born on January 8, 1995, in Overland Park, Kansas to Michael and Lisa Jordahl. From an early age, Trevor was known for his infectious smile, twinkle in his eyes, endless energy and love of all things sports, especially his beloved KC Chiefs, KC Royals and Kansas Jayhawks. There wasn’t a sports statistic he didn’t know. Whether it was playing baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, video games or just running around the neighborhood, he had a special way of brightening the lives of those around him.
Despite facing challenges, Trevor was more than his struggles. He was a son/brother/cousin/friend whose heart was full of love, and whose presence brought joy to so many. He truly would do anything to help friend or family. He was generous to a fault, including giving you his last Taco Bell quesadilla if you wanted it. His journey was one of resilience and he will be remembered not for the battles he fought, but for the love he gave and the moments of light he shared.
Trevor is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Lisa Jordahl; his sister, Stephanie Jordahl, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Halvor and Marie Jordahl and Allan and Kathryn Buenger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Call in the hopes that others may find the support they need (direct link to donation page can be found below).
Though our hearts are heavy, we choose to remember Trevor for the love he gave, the laughter he shared and the impact he had on everyone who knew him.
