She later completed her education and received her GED in 1970. She repaired and cleaned aircraft during WWII at Hill Air Force Base. When the war ended, she moved back to Wellington and worked in several beauty shops there. She married Robert Orland Hull from Columbus, OH on June 28, 1947 in Carbon, UT and they moved to Kansas City, MO. They relocated to Raytown, MO in 1964. She was a hairdresser in her home for many years, and served as a mail clerk for Hallmark Cards and Allstate Insurance Company in Kansas City, MO. She relocated to the Red Barn Apartments in Delta, PA in 2009, and to The Village (formerly Brookdale) at Bellevue Assisted Living Community in Nashville, TN in 2019. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (Gigi), and friend. She had a delightfully quirky personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a fierce, deep loyalty and love for neighbors, family, and friends. She was generous and giving, and was always looking for ways to help and serve others. She loved to laugh, bake lemon meringue pies, make her mother’s egg noodles from scratch, sew, crochet, dance, play bingo and card games, work crossword puzzles, and hang out with her friends at Loma Vista Townhomes (Kansas City, MO), Delta Senior Center (Delta, PA), and The Village at Bellevue (Nashville, TN). She loved the hugs, kisses, smiles, and laughter of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she took great delight in successfully pulling off over 40 years of April Fools’ Day pranks.
