

Vincent Gerard Reyes Sr., 59 of Kansas City, MO died October 4, 2021 at North Kansas City Hospital surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Friday, October 8, 2021 at Redemptorist Fathers Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm and the church. Cremation to follow the Mass. Vincent was born September 6, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Jose “Jesse” Reyes, Jr. and Delores (Ramos) Reyes. He attended Westport High School. Vincent married the former Ronda Meredith, his high school sweetheart and they were married for 37 years. He was a printer for Vile-Goller/Fine Arts, later with Commercial Litho until the company closed. The last four years he worked with Ronda in her business, “Tropical Interiors, The Plant People”.
Vincent loved all sports and helping coach his boys in baseball, football and soccer were some of the best times of his life. He was a diehard Chiefs fan! He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. Vincent was a giver, a giver of his time, when seemingly there was no time to give. Vincent was also a part time bartender at his father’s bar, “Jesse’s Bar” on Southwest Boulevard.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Ronda, of the home; three sons, Josh (Karina), Rhyan (Nikki) and Vincent, Jr (Jackie).; his mother, Delores; four brothers, Jose Reyes, III (Kathy), Armando Reyes (Loretta), Robert Reyes (Mary) and Anthony Reyes (Gina); two sisters, Patricia Hernandez (James) and Antoinette Ruiz; 10 grandchildren that he loved very much and they meant the world to him and many nieces and nephews and cousins; he will also be missed by the one that Vincent cared for and his best buddy, Milo Mitchell.
