William Floyd was born August 15, 1928 in Stonewall, Oklahoma the son of Charles C. and Letha (Greason) Kennedy. He served in the United States Air Force stateside during the Korean War and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was employed by Pittman Manufacturing as a Assembler and was a member of the VFW Chapter 1829 in Kansas City, MO. He attended Southview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, First Wife: Nona (Williams) Kennedy and Second Wife: Rosemary C. Kennedy. He is survived by: Three nephews: Harold (Wife: Beverly) Erwin, Robert Hudgins and Jim Erwin. Niece: Judy (Husband: Bob) Young. Step-daughters: Debbie (Husband: Ken) Frost and Stephanie (Husband: Joe) Whalen. Step-son: Gary Jacks. Step-granddaughter: Mandy (Husband: Jason) Pittman. Step-grandsons, Kenny Jacks and Clint Whalen. and Step-great Grandchildren: Chance, Spencer, and Logan Pitman, Veronah and Milene Jacks. He is also survived by: Many great nieces and great nephews.
