Bill was as good a neighbor and friend as a person could ask for. We loved his stories, his wonderful sense of humor and his infectious laugh. The neighborhood will not be the same without him--he was kind of the "anchor" down the street. We share Brenda and Debra's sorrow.

Enjoyed meeting Bill when we brought the old 1949 Ford fire engine back to Leawood.  I got a real kick out of listening to him and the other volunteers tell stories of their time on that engine.  You could tell he really loved the fire department.  Randy Hill, Deputy Chief-Retired

 I met Bill when we were students at Prairie School. He was a great guy .and it would be very hard  not to like him. My sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
